In room 1 we have been focusing on Samoa language week. We also had to do a brochure template on Samoa language week. When we first started it we had to answer a lot of questions.

2D Shapes

In room 1 we have been learning about 2D shapes and we did 9 shapes.

Fruits of the Holy Spirit

Today in room 1 we have been learning all about the fruits of the Holy Spirit in group of peris. My partner and my self Fruit was a pear.

Today in room 1 we have been learning how to make a square based pyramid.

Swimming Recount

I was so excited when I was going to Dean Greenwood swimming pool with room 1.

When we went to get changed. Another class was in the pool and they got out at 10:30 .
Then we went in the pool next, to learn how to swim properly like an adult. We learnt how to
do the starfish on our back and our front for 10-15 seconds. Then we went into pairs to swim to the other
side by ourselves. Some people needed help swimming to the other side. There were also lanes to keep
us from going into other lanes. When the teacher said to not go under the lanes some people didn't  listen
and were talking back to the teacher. Lastly we got changed. Miss Paton said 

“You have ten minutes to get changed”.

She put ten minutes on her phone. When the timer went off we left the swimming pool. I found it hard
listening to the instructor. It was a little bit hard floating on our backs and our fronts. I found it annoying
when the water went up my nose and stung my eyes. I was tired when I got back to school.
